Friday Find: Six core items that are too cool for school.

Besides the kids being out of the house one of the other great things about the back to school season is that I get to buy new planners, notebooks, markers, and cool creative supplies (All in the name of back to school, of course.)

I can’t help it, I’m a paper and pen geek.  You?  So today’s Friday Finds are 6 core items that are too cool for school.

Do you like to get you’re organizing, goal setting, and planning on in August? Me too, and new supplies are just the incentive.

I’m a bit partial to the Tipsy Writer pen holder.  Sometimes  a drink is required to sweet talk the muse. ( Don’t judge…’kay.) This dexterous pen holder is weighted by a half brass half wooden ball. It stays upright no matter how much you play with it as you drink wine and coax out your next blog topic.

I love that you can now find planners that start mid year and go from July to July like the Desk Designer, a collaboration with Whitney English of Day Planner fame!

And the Clever Pencils  have witty phrases like white lies, moments of brilliance, and the boss on them…who can resist?

Let’s not talk about how many notebooks I have. ( I don’t want to incriminate myself.) But how cute is Kate Spade’s Talk is Chic Notebook …come on? Like I said I need another notebook like I need a whole in my head, but the french Le Journal with its gold foiled dipped bottom…oui oui.

Oh, and that chipped mug  holding your pencils?  Ditch that already. The Daisy Place pencil cup by Mrs. Spade is so much cuter.

Ciao, the links to these items are below.

Happy Friday!

HI, I'M ELLE

Fashion magazines and design school taught me everything I know about interiors: how to read a silhouette, a texture, a mood.
And the fabrics.
That's where it
all still starts.
