We are coming down the home stretch for the One Room Challenge here with week four. The One Room Challenge is where bloggers, designers, and home enthusiast are challenged to redesign, remodel, or redecorate one room within a six week time frame.

This is my first time participating in the ORC and I am redecorating my teen daughter’s bedroom.

The One Room Challenge official media sponsor is Better Homes and Gardens magazine.

For a quick recap we started out with her room being pink, left over from her toddler days. We have since painted the room Sherwin Williams Tricorn Black in a satin finish, put all of her old broken furniture to the curb, cleaned the carpet, installed a new ceiling light fixture and put together a smaller more compact desk.

To follow along with all of the before and in progress shots you can read all about it starting with week 1, week 2, and week 3.

In the meantime, a new upholstered bed, dresser, nightstand, comfy mattress, and graffiti wallpaper mural were ordered and have arrived. We have been dying to to get this mural and up see what it was like.

Today’s post will be a couple of sneak peaks to the countdown of the final reveal and photo shoot!  Woohooo!!

Can’t wait to reveal this whole room, the mural wall looks sooooo good! Although Miss K and I nearly had it out a few times installing it together. I’ll give you all the deets on that next week!

Wish me luck getting the draperies and bedding here in time. I’m not liking how things are turning out so far with a couple of things I ordered not turning out as expected so the hunt is still on.

Follow along with all of the other invited and guest participants of the One Room Challenge and see how everyone else is progressing with their rooms.
