Home for the Holidays Challenge- Day 1
 Day 1 Breathing Rm

 Breathing Room

I’m so glad you are joining me on this challenge! Today’s first task in the Home for the Holidays Challenge is to create some breathing room.  In fact, that is the objective for this whole challenge-create breathing room during the approaching hectic season.

Whether you are hosting a house full of people, a few treasured friends, or just your immediate family getting your house in order relieves a lot of stress.

For most of the country its coat season which means guest will be wearing coats and now is a good time to get the coat closet cleaned out.

If you’re currently afraid to open the coat closet door and hear the spooky music from the Bates Motel when you do, lets get that all tidied up on day one.

Don’t be embarrassed by falling bags, boots, and boxes as you try and jam your guest coats into an overflowing closet. Today we are going to create some breathing room.

Remove anything that no longer fits, stuff that just got shoved in there, other miscellaneous junk. Donate items you no longer use or wear and be sure to leave empty hangers for guest and a basket for umbrellas.

Imagine getting this done now?  In a few short weeks you’ll be ready to rock the holidays.

Now as you open the the coat closet door a glowing light shines and a choirs hums, aaahhhhhhhhhh!

Breathing room.

Okay don’t just read about how nice it would be…hop to it. Clean out that closet!

Post your before and after pictures in the Facebook Group by 9pm Eastern time if you want to be eligible for the days prize drawing. A winner will be randomly selected from those who post.

Please help spread the word and share this challenge with others so they can join in on the fun here.
